Your Role at Echo
We are looking for a Data Analyst to be in charge of all the data deliveries (extraction or analysis) from our Data Lake to our customers.
Successful candidates have prior Data experience, strategic problem-solving abilities and an inspiring data vision. More, you should be at ease with business point of view or client facing expertise.
Our stack runs on GCP, (BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Airflow, Terraform), you will manage data extractions in collaboration with the product and customer success teams. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing, early stage startup expanding its markets !
As such, your main responsibilities will be:
- Understand product/customer requirements; devise data extraction strategy
- Provide business visibility into data deliveries
- Lead end-to-end projects effectively
- Operate in diverse big data environments using various platforms and technologies
- Conduct data analysis, utilizing normalization, extrapolation, and data sciences for raw visit, dwell time, cross-visitation, etc
- Write efficient SQL queries, transforming raw data points into reliable business use cases.
- Ensure data cleanliness, consistency, and accuracy
- Act as a technical guide for different business entities and data marts; conduct SQL and analytics best practices training
What we’re looking for:
- Fluency in English (French is a plus)
- 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis in Python/SQL/R
- At least 2 years of experience in Big Data, Data warehousing in tier-1 software companies
- An experience in Data Visualization in Python or other BI tools
- An experience in project management is a strong plus
- Strong organizational skills
- Comfortable working with the Google Cloud Platform stack
- Strong experience in Agile Methods (Lean is a plus)
- Working knowledge in DevOps: GitHub CI/CD, Terraform, Notion, Jira or other Project Management tools
